Licensing and Safety Standards

Smart Care operates in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a licensed cleaning and pest control company, and puts the safety of its clients, its team and the places it works in first. This page explains in general the framework we work within.

1. Licensing and Authorities

We operate under licences from the relevant authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Centre (Tadweer) for pest control activities, and we aim to follow their requirements and guidance in our daily work.

2. Products and Pesticides

We use pesticides and cleaning products approved by the relevant authorities, choosing each one to suit the pest or surface and the nature of the place, with care for the safety of children, older family members and pets.

3. Safety During the Work

• We assess the site before we start and explain to the client any preparation or precautions that may be needed.
• Our team follows safe-use instructions for products and equipment, and uses protective equipment suited to each job.
• Some pest treatments may require people or pets to stay away from the place for a while; the technician decides this and tells the client in advance.

4. Our Team

Our technical and supervisory team is trained in cleaning and pest control methods and in using equipment safely, and we work to develop their skills in line with the nature of our work.

5. Care for the Environment

We aim to use products only in the amounts each case needs, and to handle products and their containers responsibly, in line with the requirements in force in the emirate.

6. The Client’s Role in Safety

Safety is complete with the client’s cooperation: telling us about any health condition, allergy, or delicate items or surfaces in the place, and following the guidance provided before and after the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Smart Care is not responsible for any harm resulting from not following the guidance provided, or from incorrect or incomplete information about the place or the health of the people in it.
